Maris Multilingual is a translation company based in Lahti, Finland, delivering high-quality language services since 2001. We specialise in translations to and from Finnish, but we also offer translation and other language services (such as revision, copy editing, software localisation and website localisation) in all major European and Asian languages.
Initially registered as Maris Translations Oy, the company began operation at the Lahti technology incubator at Neopoli, today known as the Lahti Science and Business Park. At that time, the founders of the company – Jukka Pohjola and Maarit Satukangas-Pohjola – had more than 15 years of experience in the translation industry and development of language technology tools.
In summer 2022, we joined forces with Nordtext SIA, an ISO 17100:2015 certified company with its headquarters in Riga, Latvia, specialising in providing language solutions for the technical, life sciences, financial and e-commerce industries. The deal will help us serve our customers better and provide tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
Our efficient and dedicated in-house staff work in close cooperation with our global network of partners: selected experts in translation and language services from many different countries.
At Maris Multilingual, we naturally specialise in translations to and from Finnish, but our core range of languages includes more than 50 major European and Asian languages.
